The Christmas Candlelight House Tour in early December is the main attraction of Cape May’s holiday season. From 5:30 to 8:30 PM, on three Saturdays in December, visitors may tour Victorian homes, inns and churches all decorated for the holidays. There are hospitality centers with cookies, hot chocolate and tea, Christmas Carolers, musicians and just a festive time everywhere to be found.
To gain an experience of an old fashioned Christmas in a small town see the West Cape May Christmas Parade every year on the first Saturday in December, with floats, local high school marching bands, and Philadelphia Mummers Bands.
Spend an afternoon at the award winning Cape May Winery, Saturday, December 8 stating at 3:30 pm. The winery tour includes a walk through the vineyards, cheese, fruit and wine tasting. Sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic Center for the Arts (MAC).
